Panzenbeck Projected to Win Mayor Election in Glen Cove City
With nearly all votes counted, Pam Panzenbeck is likely to win reelection for a third term as mayor, receiving 56.42% of the vote.
She defeated Democratic candidate Marsha Silverman, according to the Nassau County Board of Elections.
The city council is expected to remain evenly divided with three Democrats and three Republicans.
Absentee ballots are still being counted, and the vote totals have not been made official.
