Climate Finance for Just Transition: How the Finance Flows
It's time for climate policy makers to prioritize people's needs in every climate response, adopting a "just transition" approach that addresses workers', women's, and communities' needs.
A just transition must form the basis of "Climate Action 2.0" to drive climate transformations. This report assesses climate finance flows to determine if funding is adequately supporting people-centered climate action.
According to the analysis, barely any climate finance is allocated to support workers and communities in undertaking just transitions.
It is time for climate policy makers to make sure that people’s priorities are front and centre of every climate response.
