I hope you did not watch that Leafs game. I watched the first period and a couple of minutes of the second, where John Tavares produced a shift of such majestic quality that it was hard to believe.
There were a couple of other lowlights from other players, but I'm unsure what this means or if it even means anything. Cayden Primeau was not good in net. A commenter summed it up:
It's not just the goaltending.And it wasn't, but the goaltending was bad.
I'm amazed and resentful that this was the best offensive performance from the Leafs in terms of volume and quality of shooting in some time. John Tavares got his 500th goal in a horrible game.
