Marjory Stoneman Douglas Girls Golf Wins District Title
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas girls golf team won a District Title, recognizing their lone senior. The Eagles placed 17 shots ahead of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Sutton Oosterhuis shot a 71 and placed third, while Alcala-Marks came in seventh and Andiara Raton finished eighth. Ella Thompson placed 11th.
“Course conditions were tough today, but the girls came out strong and put together a good front 9 with solid contributions from all four players,”
said Head Coach Jonathan Smith.
“It was a true team effort, and now we get ready for regionals next week.”
Next, MSD will compete at Regionals on Monday, November 3, at Osprey Point, looking to cement their spot in the State Championship.
