Denver Bathhouse to Utilize Geothermal Energy

The owners of Coba, a planned bathhouse in Denver, aim to harness heat from 800 feet underground using geothermal wells. They also expect to receive a $500,000 tax credit.

The team behind Coba has a grand vision for a wellness center with pools, located south of downtown Denver. Currently, they are operating a mobile sauna, called the Cobacita, on the site in the La Alma neighborhood.

The Cobacita features a wood-burning stove, which can accommodate 16 people, as well as cold plunge pools outside. This setup serves as a preview of the more extensive plans for the former industrial site at 1339 N.
