Democrats Gain Seats in Suffolk and Nassau Legislatures
Democrats picked up seats in both the Nassau and Suffolk County Legislatures on Tuesday.
In Suffolk, Democrat Greg Doroski defeated Republican Legis. Stark in the 1st District, which covers the North Fork seat.
In Nassau, Democrats claimed an open seat, while no other incumbents were ousted in either county.
