Arian Katsimbras to Receive 2025 Silver Pen Award
The poet will be inducted into the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame on November 7 at the University of Nevada, Reno.
The University Libraries will host the 38th Annual Nevada Writers Hall of Fame event. The Silver Pen Award was founded by Larry Struve in 1996 as an extension of the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame’s mission.

- Recipients must have already achieved notable success for their work
The award honors the recipients’ talent and inspires continued excellence among emerging and mid-career writers.
The Nevada Writers Hall of Fame was established in 1988 by Marilyn Melton, former President of the Friends of the University Libraries, with two principal objectives.
