A preschool teacher in Homestead, Florida, was arrested and charged with child abuse without great bodily harm.
Heather Williams, a 41-year-old teacher at Smart Start of Homestead, was taken into custody on Wednesday.
According to police, Williams pushed and grabbed a 3-year-old student by the arm, resulting in visible bruises.
Williams stood before Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Mindy S. and was later released on bond.
Administrators at Smart Start of Homestead did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
