Bruce Peninsula Power Outage
A power outage on Wednesday affected 6,300 Hydro One customers, reportedly caused by a vehicle hitting a hydro pole at around 4:20 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that the cause of the outage was a motor vehicle crash at Highway 6 and Happy Valley Road.
- More than half of the affected customers lost power for about 20 minutes.
- By 4:40 p.m., the outage was limited to just over 2,480 customers.
- Power was restored to all customers just before 1 a.m.
