Dale Evans converted a 97th-minute penalty to give Brecon Corries a thrilling 4-3 home win over Abergavenny Town in the Ardal League South East.
Joel Evans scored two goals, and Jay Ryan Hughes also netted for the Chisels, who made it three wins in a row to move up to fifth in the league table.
Manager Damien Daniels felt Corries controlled the first half, with Dale Evans and Steve Goodwin outstanding at the back. Hughes deservedly put them in front when Joel Evans flicked the ball on for him to score via a post.
However, they were slow starters after the break, and Ben Brooks put Abergavenny level. Two goals in three minutes from Joel Evans then put Corries in the driving seat, but the visitors staged a late rally.
Brooks got his second on 88 minutes, and former Builth Wells striker Rudi Griffiths looked to have salvaged a point for Abergavenny in the first minute of stoppage time, with both goals coming from set pieces.
Author's summary: Corries win 4-3 with a late penalty.
