An Avon & Somerset Police officer is facing allegations of breaching standards of professional behaviour.
PC Thomas West is the subject of a misconduct hearing at the force's headquarters in Portishead, where he is accused of breaching the standards of honesty and integrity and of discreditable conduct.
The hearing panel will be told that if the allegations are upheld, then they will "amount to gross misconduct".
A hearing panel, chaired by retired assistant chief constable Craig Holden, will review the allegations on November 10.
