Temple Women’s Basketball secured a 94-85 win against George Mason with six players scoring in double figures.
In the fourth quarter, Temple had the ball with five seconds left, tied at 74, but guard Kaylah Turner's shot missed, and forward Saniyah Craig's follow-up attempt didn't come in time, leading to overtime.
In overtime, forward Jalessa Molina scored seven points to help the Owls gain separation and secure the victory.
Temple (1-0, 0-0 American Conference) outlasted George Mason (0-1, 0-0 Atlantic-10 Conference) with six players scoring in double digits, led by guard Tristen Taylor's 19 points.
"I saw the resilience from them," said head coach Diane Richardson.
