HSE Nursing Service Unavailable on Tory Island
The HSE Nursing Service on Tory Island will be unavailable on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.
All planned nursing care has been delivered prior to this temporary closure.
“We wish to apologise for this unplanned temporary gap in service.
A temporary solution has been put in place, with an agency nurse covering the period from Monday until Thursday next week when the nursing rota will change over.
Preparations have been made to support those on the island, with the Assistant Director of Nursing providing necessary contact details to those who may need support over these two days.
- Local GPs have been advised to be prepared to provide support.
- Pharmacies have been informed of the temporary closure.
- The Community Intervention Nursing Team is aware of the situation.
- The Coast Guard has also been notified.
