Huda Mustafa from Love Island USA Season 7 has issued an apology to fellow contestant Olandria Carthen.
Mustafa's apology came after she initially tried to downplay the outrage over her reaction to a racial slur uttered during a livestream hosted by her boyfriend Louis Russell.
A video shared online by TMZ shows the couple answering a phone call from an unknown caller who used the N-word, with the pair seemingly surprised and chuckling before ending the call.
Carthen called the language "unacceptable" in a statement shared on her Instagram Story.
