Marjory Stoneman Douglas Eagles Soar to State Bowling Semi-Finals
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas (MSD) High School boys' bowling team competed in the state championship in Orlando on October 28 and 29.
Coach Mike Gregory praised the team's efforts, saying
Our team was phenomenal, and our boys bowled very well. I am very proud of everyone on the team.
The Eagles earned second place at the district championship and qualified for the semi-finals, placing 15th out of 30 teams.
Gregory noted
They really competed well as a team and did not let their emotions get to them. They showed great sportsmanship toward the other teams.
