Physiotherapy FCPs Recognised for Improving Care

Physiotherapy first contact practitioners (FCPs) from the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to children’s services.

The team, led by Patricia Elliott, including Lynsey Cunningham, Rachel Simpson, and Emma McKinney, received recognition in the service Improvement category at the Advancing Healthcare Awards Northern Ireland.

The team provides specialist physiotherapy support to clinically vulnerable children and young people in the community, advancing how physiotherapy contributes to multidisciplinary care for children with complex health needs.

The awards ceremony took place on 23 October, with the CSP Northern Ireland Board sponsoring a table to celebrate the achievements of physiotherapy professionals.
