Amazon has confirmed that 14,000 corporate employees will be laid off as part of major organizational changes, citing AI innovation as a factor in reducing staff roles.

says Amazon executive Beth Galetti, senior vice president of People Experience and Technology. Employees were informed of the layoffs on Tuesday, with leaders communicating the changes to affected teams and individuals.
