Westminster residents will elect a new mayor and three city councilmembers in the upcoming November election.
The city, with a population of around 115,000, has eight candidates running for city council positions and three mayoral candidates. Two of the mayoral candidates, David DeMott and Claire Carmelia, have previously served on the council.
The councilmembers are not divided into wards, as this proposition was declined in the last year's election. Instead, six councilmembers represent the entirety of the city.
