Adelaide Metro Offers Free Bus Rides During Christmas Pageant
Adelaide Metro is providing free travel on all buses, trains, and trams from 6am to 2pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025, to help families attend the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant.

The initiative returns this year to enable thousands of South Australians to enjoy the state's most cherished annual event without worrying about transport costs. The Christmas Pageant is the largest public street parade in the southern hemisphere, attracting over 300,000 attendees last year.
Additional Services for Crowds
- Extra buses and trains will operate throughout the morning to manage the expected crowds.
- Additional substitute buses will run along the Glenelg tram corridor due to ongoing upgrade works.

“Adelaide Metro is so pleased to provide free public transport to help children and families get to the city for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant,” said spokesperson Michelle Spagnoletti.
“We’ll have additional services running on the day, so hop on board and leave the car at home.”
