Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani cast his vote in the New York City mayoral election on Tuesday, November 4, alongside his wife, Rama Duwaji.
Mamdani, a 34-year-old democratic socialist, is running against 67-year-old Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat turned independent after losing the primary, and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa, 71.
President Donald Trump: threatened to hold back federal funds to the city if Mamdani wins the mayoral election.
