Boyd Farms Honored for Long Heritage

Two farms owned by the Boyd family have been recognized as Sequatchie County Heritage Farms.

One farm is located near the Sequatchie River, close to East Valley Road, and the other is situated on Fredonia Mountain.

Larry Boyd noted that his great-grandfather, Cam Boyd, purchased the valley farm in the 1920s. Cam Boyd was a school teacher on Fredonia Mountain.
