UPDATE: Pedestrian treated after being hit by vehicle in downtown Whitehorse, RCMP say
A pedestrian was treated for non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in downtown Whitehorse.
- The incident occurred at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Elliott Street at around 12:50 p.m.! on Nov. 3.
- The driver stayed on the scene, according to Yukon RCMP spokesperson Calista MacLeod.
- A portion of 2nd Avenue was closed to traffic following the incident, with emergency services and the Whitehorse bylaw department diverting traffic around the area.
Police said the driver stayed on the scene.
