Leeds United striker Mateo Joseph has expressed his delight with his move to Mallorca, a transfer that has also pleased the Spanish club.
According to ABC, Mallorca "seized the opportunity" to sign Joseph after a potential move to Real Betis fell through. The club needed a replacement for Cyle Larin and opted for the Leeds man on a simple loan for the season.
Joseph had been stuck in a "back-and-forth" with Betis, who refused to match Leeds' demands for him.
Joseph's decision to join Mallorca was influenced by his childhood friend, Pablo Torre, who also signed with the club this summer. The move appears to be working out well for both parties.
