South East Melbourne are unbeaten in four games at home this NBL season after outlasting the Perth Wildcats.
Nathan Sobey's game-high tally of 22 points and ice-cool hand from the free-throw line have helped South East Melbourne to a hard-fought 94-89 NBL home win over the Perth Wildcats.
Owen Foxwell (20 points, five assists) and John Brown III (12 points, eight rebounds) also shone as the Phoenix stepped up in a tight finish at John Cain Arena on Sunday.
The result meant SEM improved to 6-2 and left Perth level at 5-5. Phoenix extended their perfect home record to 4-0 despite shooting the ball at less than 40 per cent from the field and 30 per cent from long range.
