The Sixers' Undefeated Start Almost Came to an End
The Sixers appeared to finally run out of energy, but Adem Bona happened.
It looked like the Sixers would lose their first game of the season. They seemed gassed, playing on the second night of a back-to-back. The Washington Wizards, led by Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George, were flirting with a 60% field goal percentage for most of the night.
The Sixers' offense was mostly limited to Joel Embiid, who led the team with 25 points. However, he had reached his minutes restriction and was done for the night with seven minutes to go in the game, and the Sixers trailing by nine.
Adem Bona refused to let that happen.
