Football Continues Strong Season
The Wesleyan football team continued its quest to become NESCAC champions with four identity-building contests after a 2–1 start.
The team played host to the Hamilton Continentals, dominating them offensively. The Cards struck first with a Blake Newcomb ’27 touchdown reception after a scoreless first quarter.
- The defense stopped the Continentals on 4th-down.
- Quarterback Matt Fitzsimons ’27 found Donte Kelly ’29 for a 42-yard touchdown.
- Dylan Connors ’26 picked off Hamilton’s quarterback, taking the return down to the 6-yard line.
No different from recent years, the Cards dominated the Hamilton Continentals offensively.
The team is eyeing its fourth-straight Little Three title with two games to go in the season.
