On October 25 and 26, key events took place in Libya, with the official reactivation and solemn inauguration of the Sirte Gulf International Airport, located in the coastal city of Sirte.
The airport, also known as Ghardabiya Air Base, had been inactive for about twelve years, with its reopening marking a new beginning for the region.
