Eden Prairie Man Charged with Theft from Beverage Startup

An Eden Prairie man, Christian Liam Schenk, 46, faces two felony theft charges for allegedly stealing over $75,000 from Crooked Beverage Company, a startup he co-founded.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court, Schenk used the company's business accounts for personal spending and transferred $47,950 from a company account after resigning.

Crooked Beverage Company was based in Eden Prairie and produced hemp-derived THC seltzers.
