Power Shutdowns Scheduled Across Kashmir in Multiple Areas
The Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across various parts of Jammu Kashmir to facilitate maintenance and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the long term.
- A shutdown of the 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will affect Newa, Kakapora, and LIS Marvel Stage I–IV receiving stations.
- Power supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Kakapora Railway, Newa, Gadoora, Zadoora, Parigam, Narbal, and adjoining areas will be suspended on specific dates.
The scheduled power shutdowns will take place from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM on the following dates:
- October 30, 2025
- November 2, 2025
- November 6, 2025
- November 10, 2025
