Picasso Portrait Sells for 32 Million Euros
A portrait of Dora Maar, painted by Picasso in July 1943, has sold for 32 million euros.
The painting, "Bust of a Woman with a Flowered Hat (Dora Maar)", depicts Maar in a brightly colored floral hat.
Maar, an artist and photographer, was Picasso's partner and muse for about seven years, but their relationship was coming to a close at the time of the painting.
