'Boston Blue' Showrunner Explains Sean Reagan Recasting
The Reagan family story continues in the Blue Bloods spinoff Boston Blue, with Danny Reagan and his son, Sean Reagan, taking new jobs with the Boston PD.
Donnie Wahlberg, the OG Blue Bloods star, is back as Danny in Boston Blue, but a fresh face is stepping into the role of Sean Reagan, with Mika Amonsen replacing Andrew Terraciano.
"We love Andrew and the work he did over the years on Blue Bloods,"
Boston Blue co-showrunner Brandon Margolis said, explaining that the Reagans are in a different era in Boston Blue, and the time was right for a fresh face.
