The Odyssey’s Elliot Page is glad to have the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again now that he’s his true self

The Odyssey’s Elliot Page on Reuniting with Christopher Nolan

Elliot Page shared his enthusiasm about returning to work with director Christopher Nolan on the upcoming film The Odyssey, calling the project both epic and extraordinary. The movie is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026.

Page Reflects on Previous Collaboration

Page previously collaborated with Nolan on the 2010 blockbuster Inception. At that time, he was portraying female roles, prior to publicly coming out as a transgender man in 2020. This renewed collaboration brings a greater sense of authenticity and comfort for the actor.

“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him,” said Page during a panel at New York Comic Con. “I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited.”
“It was such a joy to come back, and to come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work. To get to have a Chris Nolan experience again really meant so much to me.”

Anticipating Another Nolan Epic

While Page refrained from revealing specific plot details, he confirmed that The Odyssey will be as ambitious as audiences expect from Nolan’s work.

“I got to go to some pretty awesome places. It’s going to be extraordinary.”
